Fine views of the Elbe valley enhanced our stay, but dinner reservations were frustratingly required for all guests.

Lovely location so close to the train station, the tram into Dresden, and a lovely summer palace with parkland.
Very unpolite staff!

Exceptionally clean property with really good staff. Large and marvellous breakfast with cooked dishes and coffee or tea and local food and exceptional service...
Wi-Fi signal was not good.

The location is beautiful! Rooms were spacious and clean. Disappointing to find my room in a different building than shown in pictures and no kettle to make tea during cold weather 😕

Beatiful location, freindly knowledgable staff, excellent restaurant at the castle.
I was not aware before hand that there was no room service to the rooms at the Cavaliers House.

The exclusive double room was brand-new, had climate control, an individual safe and a fridge. The hotel had a remote location on the west-facing slopes across the Elbe. It was surely a RELAXING stay on the weekend.

The staff offered a lovely basket of fruit instead of a kettle for tea, how quaint. Paying 28 euros for breakfast was highway robbery. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade for such abysmal service, but alas, you're treated like everyone else here. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't do it.

Beautiful surroundings and gardens, great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. And the main building gives you a royal feeling. We loved the stay.

our room was brand-new, beautifully decorated with climate control, an individual safe and a fridge, had a relaxing experience. the location was beautiful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from wolfshugelturm. the check-in was easy and the atmosphere was exclusive overall. we were greeted by the thoughtful and knowledgeable staff.

The gardens surrounding the hotel are stunningly maintained.
Despite the amazing setting, the lack of amenities in my Comfort Double Room in the Annex was great. I found it strange that there were no coffee-making facilities available, especially in the cold weather. It was annoying to realize that the sauna and gym were permanently closed, and the dining options were not as plentiful as expected. On some days, the restaurant was closed for private events.

We stayed in the carriage house and it was very comfortable and quiet. The property is lovely. There are walking paths on the grounds including one that goes down to the river. This hotel has a beautiful dining area with a balcony area and garden seating. The breakfast buffet was superb. And while dogs are not allowed in the dining room, it was not a problem for us to sit with them in the garden and enjoy our breakfast. Every member of the staff that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The nearby tram stop provided a quick and easy way to reach the city.

Location to tram line and distance from city centre. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
We were disappointed that our room was not in the main schloss, but the Kavalierhaus was nice.

Dining here is a delight! They serve freshly made pizzas that hit the spot and culinary wonders to keep you exploring. The beautiful terrace overlooking the Elbe river offers an ambiance that can't be beat. Don't miss out on the lovely gardens that make a perfect backdrop for lunch.
For a superior four-star hotel, I was a bit let down. An empty soap dispenser, no coffee maker, and some dried breakfast sausages were minor buzzkills. And Saturday night was a wild ride with loud music past 10 PM. I was more than disappointed when no one at the front desk addressed my concerns.

I have in Karlivers building. Room is cosy. My room is next to garden so that I can enjoy autumn view from my room. Garden in the hotel is big and it is a nice place to enjoy nature. Breakfast has variety choice and because breakfast is serviced at Schloss, you will enjoy feeling of having breakfast in Castle like you are princess.
